For the last day of the SEMA Show, we'll feature the Jamarri Whiteside WRX STI. He tells the car's story: "I bought the STI completely stock back in 2007 and had my mind set on how I wanted to build this car. It started out like most with a simple drop, wheels, intake, and exhaust for awhile, but it just wasn't enough for me. I wanted to build the most dominant Subaru in the show scene today! Back in early 2008, the transformation of daily driver to stripped interior, fully caged, no-stereo, and removal of all the comfort pieces began.
"The STI has gone through a few different looks and has been featured in a few different magazines. I have been showing it all up and down the West Coast since late 2008 and have picked up quite a bit of awards along the way, including a handful of best of shows -- one, in fact, that led me to this very spot you see my car in right now, from winning best of show at Subiefest 2010! Being in the SEMA Show was a dream of mine and it came true.
"I will continue to build my STI until it has reached the end point. One thing I learned while building this car is that determination is key. Without it, you will get nowhere."
