Subaru at SEMA Show 2011

The Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) Show opens later today at the Las Vegas Convention Center. This show is always exciting and holds surprises every year. The SEMA Show highlights products and automobiles that spark the imagination and bring back memories. It reminds me of why I love cars and being involved in the automobile industry.

I'm able to do what I love, so, as the saying goes, I never have to go to work. The SEMA Show epitomizes that sentiment. Converse with just about anyone here -- vendor, salesperson, attendee -- and it doesn't take long to find his or her trigger as to what started the fascination with automobiles: how it started, what made it grow, and where the emphasis is today.

So while the display area is huge at the Las Vegas Convention Center, the reason most people are here is the same -- the love for cars and whatever makes a person an enthusiast.

According to its press release, Subaru is here with seven vehicles that reflect various aspects of its business. We'll feature them in this Journal one or two at a time throughout the week, so come back to find details about them.
